GB Translation helps Amway and Jacaranda Marketing make their Valencia trip something truly special

Guided tours of Valencia in Japanese and Korean? No problem!

In September 2018, the Korean and Japanese branches of the nutrition, beauty and home products company Amway organised a reward trip for their top sales staff to Valencia, Spain, where GB Translation happens to be based. In order to make their stay and the guided tours of the old town as pleasant as possible, the event management company Jacaranda Marketing got in touch with GB Translation who provided Korean and Japanese interpreting services for this purpose.

GB Translation's Korean interpreter proved to be a success with our visitors. Here they are posing for a photo on top of the Serranos towers of Valencia.

The assignment

Jacaranda charged us with the organization of the interpretation services for Amway employees from Korea and Japan and we were happy to support them with our proven, reliable interpreters, who accompanied the travel groups during their stay in Valencia and resolved any language issue or cultural problem that occurred.

How we helped

During their 3-day stay, the Korean group explored all the major tourist attractions of the city of Valencia and its surroundings: the late Valencian Gothic-style civil building Llotja de la Seda, beautiful Plaza de la Virgen and the famous cathedral and of course the oceanarium Oceanogràfic in the architectural complex City of Arts and Sciences. A typical Valencian experience the visitors didn’t miss was to drink Horchata with Fartons.
The Japanese group spent one exciting day in Valencia and visited the Torres de Serrano, the cathedral and did some shopping supported by the Japanese language expert from GB Translation.
With the help of our professional services, Jacaranda was able to organize a carefree trip for pleased customers.

GB's own Marina Puerto and our intern Nina personally made sure that everything went well, starting early in the morning at the Las Arenas hotel.
